The 2024 Eldorado Scioto Downs meet is just around the corner with opening day on Thursday, May 9. Condition sheets are now available for that first week on the USTA website.
The draw schedule will be as follows:
Race Day — Draw Day — Draw Closes — Scratch Time
Tuesday — Friday — 2 p.m. — Saturday by 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday — Saturday — 2 p.m. — Monday by 11:30 a.m.
Thursday — Monday — 10 a.m. — Tuesday by 11:30 a.m.
Friday — Tuesday — 2 p.m. — Wednesday by 11:30 a.m.
Saturday — Tuesday — 2 p.m. — Wednesday by 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday qualifiers — Monday — 10 a.m.
There will be two qualifying cards before opening day: Friday, May 3 — entries due Wednesday, May 1 at 2 p.m. — and Tuesday, May 7. Post time for both qualifying days is 12 p.m.
Qualifiers will then be held on Tuesdays at 3:45 p.m. except for June 10-July 15 when they will move to Mondays at noon to accommodate the influx of two-year-olds.

The 90-day 2024 Eldorado Scioto Downs race meet goes from Thursday, May 9 through Saturday, Sept. 14. Races will be held Tuesday-Saturday with special holiday cards on Memorial Day and Labour Day instead of the Tuesday card that week. First post will be 5:45 p.m. each day except for Thursday, July 4 with a post of 3:15 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 13, which will have a 6:15 p.m. post to help accommodate horsepeople attending the Ohio Selected Yearling Sale.
