Standardbred Canada has issued a notice regarding the entries posted for Tuesday, April 23 at The Raceway at Western Fair District.
With The Raceway hosting the Ontario Regional Driving Championship (ORDC) on Tuesday, April 23, the post positions for the tournament races (Races 3 through 11) will be drawn on Friday, April 19 after the drivers have selected horses in the driver draft.

The ORDC will feature drivers Tyler Borth, Travis Cullen, Travis Henry, Trevor Henry, Brett MacDonald, James MacDonald, Bob McClure, Garrett Rooney and Louis-Philippe Roy. The nine drivers will participate in nine competition races. Each race will have eight drivers competing, with one driver sitting out in each race.
As previously announced, the draw for the ORDC will be facilitated by Standardbred Canada. The format will allow drivers to participate in selecting the horses they will drive. First, there will be a draw to determine the order of the draft (first through eighth) for the first ORDC race. A random number generator will then be used to determine the draw for the next eight races to ensure each driver has the opportunity to draw a first through eighth pick. Following the draft will be the post position draw to ensure that every driver drives from post one through eight for the competition.
