Owners and breeders of New Jersey-sired horses are advised that they must be current members of the Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey and have a W-9 form on file with the SBOANJ in order to be eligible for New Jersey-sired and breeder awards.
Owners of New Jersey-sired horses six years old and under racing in overnight races are eligible for award funds from the SBOANJ when their horses finish in the top five positions while racing at New Jersey racetracks. Breeders of New Jersey-sired horses that earn purse money in New Jersey Sire Stakes and SBOANJ-sponsored races are eligible to receive breeder awards.
