Organizers of the 2017 Horsemen's Hockey Tournament have issued a reminder that draft day is this coming Sunday, April 16.
The player draft will be held at the Mohawk Inn & Conference Centre from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. this Sunday, two weeks out from tournament day on Sunday, April 30 at the Cambridge Sports Park.
"We also want everyone to know that they are invited to the April 16 player draft whether you are in the tournament or not," said co-organizer Jody Jamieson. "You are invited to participate and enjoy the player draft at the Mohawk Inn, where you will be able to enjoy drinks and food as the draft takes place."
Shortly after the player draft on Sunday, the tournament schedule will be released and posted on the SC website. Please be advised that trades will be allowed for a period of two weeks leading up to the Friday before the tournament.
Every player intending to play in the tournament must register before the draft at this form to be able to play in the tournament.
Tournament organizers wish to thank WEG, OHHA, COSA, Western Fair District and Grand River Raceway for their generous donations to help this tournament be a success.
