The Ontario Standardbred Alliance has unveiled a roster of spring series events to be contested across several alliance racetracks.
A total of 11 series will be contested throughout the months of May and June. The series conditions offer racing opportunities for $6,000 to $12,000 claimers and non-winners of $5,000 lifetime.
Several series will conclude on major event nights for a pair of alliance racetracks.
Flamboro Downs will host two finals on Confederation Cup Night (Sunday, May 15). The Raceway at Western Fair District will also host a pair of finals on Molson Pace Night (Friday, May 27).
Clinton Raceway, Grand River Raceway and Georgian Downs will also host series races.
Each series will feature preliminary legs or eliminations with a purse of $5,000 to $6,000. The finals will feature purses with $12,000 to $15,000 in added money.
The nomination fee for each series is $100 ($75 USD) and nominations close Monday, May 2. The Woodbine Entertainment Group will handle all stakes payments.
