Flamboro Downs has announced a new stakes series, the 'Ontario Prep Series,' for Ontario-bred three-year-olds of both sexes and gaits
.
The series is open to Ontario-sired, non-winners of $40,000 in 2011.
The series will have $10,000 eliminations and $50,000 (added) finals.
The $200 nomination fee for the series is due Saturday, March 24.
Cheques are payable to Flamboro Downs, but nomination and sustaining payments can also be paid using SC Stakes Online.

3-year-old Filly Pace
• Eliminations: Sunday, April 15, 2012 ($10,000)
• Final: Sunday, April 22, 2012 ($50,000 A)
3-year-old Colt Pace
• Eliminations: Sunday, April 22, 2012 ($10,000)
• Final: Sunday, April 29, 2012 ($50,000 A)
3-year-old Filly Trot
• Eliminations: Wednesday, May 2, 2012 ($10,000)
• Final: Wednesday, May 9, 2012 ($50,000 A)
3-year-old Colt Trot
• Eliminations: Sunday, May 6, 2012 ($10,000)
• Final: Sunday, May 13, 2012 ($50,000 A)
