The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is pleased to announce that it is auctioning off two breedings to If I Can Dream to benefit the MSOA Collegiate Scholarship Fund.
Randy Ringer, owner of If I Can Dream, has donated the breedings, valued at $2,000 each. If I Can Dream stands at Sandy Plans Equine Center in Clarksville, Pennsylvania.
The breedings are being offered via auctions on the website ongait.com, and will run through Monday, March 11 at 12 noon.
If I Can Dream, a son of Western Hanover, earned more than $2 million during his racing career and took a mark of 1:49.4f. A full brother to another successful racehorse and stallion, Western Terror, If I Can Dream was the winner of the 2009 Breeders Crown colt pace. He is also a world champion, as he set a world’s record as the fastest two-year-old colt pacer of all time, while winning the Matron Stakes during his freshman campaign.
“The MSOA would like to thank Randy Ringer for adding to our scholarship offerings,” said MSOA President Rich Gillock. “This is a new venture for him, and we are grateful for his generosity. We are always thrilled to have new partners join us to help make our scholarship program a success.”
