Standardbred Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Bédard to the position of assistant registrar
.
Bédard succeeds Pat Kennedy in that role, as Pat was recently promoted to registrar.
Bedard joined Standardbred Canada eight years ago when she moved to Ontario from Laval, Québec, bringing with her a strong background in racing and breeding. She is fluently bilingual and works in SC’s Member Services department, where she regularly deals with foal and foreign registrations, transfers of ownership, race performance records, membership and licensing issues.
Bédard also brings a great personal passion for the standardbred industry. She has one broodmare and also one racehorse which she and her partner, Mike Pennington, race on the WEG circuit.
