Longtime harness racing industry participant John “Jack” Bernard Brown of Stratford, P.E.I. passed away peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the age of 92.
Jack was very involved in the PEI Harness Racing Industry and the Charlottetown Driving Park for many years.
Beloved husband of Joan (Wood) Brown. Loving father of Scott and Heather Sherren. Grandfather of Ben Sherren, Natalie Beveridge and Mary Elizabeth Allison. Great-grandfather of Felix, Hunter and Ava. Predeceased by his parents Byron and Ethel (Blanchard) Brown and siblings Richard, Ethel, Frank, Marnie, Albert, Arthur and Rita.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. A family celebration will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made online to the PEI Humane Society.
