On Saturday, April 22, Pacing For The Cure 2017 will kick off at the Meadowlands Racetrack, as an evening of fun has been scheduled in support of Multiple Sclerosis.
According a piece on nj.com, the event will include a charity walk around the racetrack and an evening at the races. Festivities will kick off at 3 p.m. and will run until 11 p.m.
Registration for the Pacing For The Cure MS walk will start at 2 p.m. Teams can consist of up to 10 walkers. The walk will start at 3 p.m. and will end at 5 p.m.
An ‘education session’ will take place after the walk. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to read the program and wager on races, which will get underway at 7:15 p.m.
It is $20 to register for the Pacing For The Cure walk, and the combination of the walk and buffet dinner in ‘Pink’ clubhouse is $75.
