Vernon Downs wrapped up its 2010 National Harness Handicapping Contest qualifier on Saturday, March 20 with Earl Andrews from Edmeston, New York winning the contest.
As a result, Andrews has qualified for the final at the Meadowlands Racetrack, which will take place from April 23 through to April 25.
Tioga Downs will host its NHHC qualifying event on Saturday, March 27 with five races from Yonkers Raceway, along with five from Saratoga.
Entry into the handicapping contest is free and registration will begin at 6:00 p.m.
The winner of the contest will receive an expense-paid trip to the NHHC event at the Meadowlands.
