On Wednesday, March 18, the Ontario Racing Commission announced that officials with Kawartha Downs have requested approval for an amendment to the pre-approved race date schedule at the Fraserville, Ont. track, and that the Woodbine Entertainment Group has also requested approval for an amendment to the post times at Mohawk Racetrack.
The details of Kawartha Downs’ requested amendment to its 2015 race-date schedule appears below.

In regard to the post times at Mohawk, WEG has requested the following amendment:

• First-race post time: 7:05 p.m. (change from 7:25 p.m.)
Saturday May 16
• First-race post time: 6:45 p.m. (change from 7:25 p.m.)
In its request – which can be read by clicking this link – WEG states that it wishes to alter the post times for Mohawk’s May 16 program because track officials are planning to reinstitute Mohawk’s very popular ‘Fireworks and Family Fun Night’ after a two-year absence.
