The 2022 book for leading pacing stallion Captaintreacherous is now full and closed.

In 2021, Captaintreacherous was the leading money-winning sire of two-year-old pacers with his offspring earning $3,448,224. His 2021 two-year-old performers were led by Dont Fence Me In (filly) p, 2, 1:50.2 ($345,782), Treacherous Dragon (filly) p, 2, 1;51.3 ($299,612), Hammering Hank p, 2 1:51.1 ($283,218), Wearinmysixshooter p, 2, 1:53f ($318,360) and Boudoir Hanover (filly) p, 2, 1:49.4 ($240,716). Captaintreacherous was the third leading winning sire of three-year-olds in 2021. His 2021 three-year-olds were led by the millionaire filly Blue Diamond Eyes p, 3, 1:47.2 ($1,150,714) and the fast Rockyroad Hanover p, 3 1:48.1 ($605,994). 

In a rare siring feat, “The Captain” is also the sire of both 2021 Dan Patch older pacers of the year, Allywag Hanover p, 1:46.4 ($1,280,995) and Lyons Sentinel p, 1:48 ($2,182,522).

Captaintreacherous was the leading pacing sire for average yearling sale price at both the 2021 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale ($132,940) and the 2021 Standardbred Horse Sale ($113,590). 

Captaintreacherous is the sixth Hanover stallion to have a full and closed 2022 book. Bar Hopping, Captain Corey, Greenshoe, Papi Rob Hanover and Tall Dark Stranger are also full and closed for the 2022 breeding season.
