Looking for an entry into the World Harness Handicapping Contest at the Meadowlands Racetrack on Saturday, April 6? Buffalo Raceway will give you that opportunity this Saturday night (March 16) by hosting a WHHC qualifying event.
Contestants must be 18 years of age, have valid identification and be a member of the Hamburg Gaming Players Rewards Club, which is free to join. Entrance fee for the qualifier is $10 and the winner will receive $500 along with two night hotel accommodations and paid entry into the WHHC finals. A second-place finish will earn you $250 while third place will return $100.
Contestants will receive an individually-numbered packet containing ten (10) mythical $200 win wager forms. A total of five wagers must be made on Buffalo Raceway's program on Saturday, March 16 and the other five have to be played at the Meadowlands.
Registration will begin at 5 p.m. and will continue through 8 p.m. at the contest table located in the Buffalo Raceway clubhouse. Post time at Buffalo Raceway on Saturday is 6 p.m. while the Meadowlands has a 7:15 p.m. starting time.
