Standardbred Canada would like to remind owners and trainers that stakes payments are due on Tuesday, March 15.
Stakes payments can be paid with debit or credit card using SC Stakes Online until midnight March 15, 2022.

A generic stakes form can be used to submit payments by mail. It can be located by clicking here.
Two-Year-Old Nomination Payments:
• Brian Andrew Memorial $100 or $450 (see conditions for nomination fee details)
Two-Year-Old Sustaining Payments:
- Atlantic Sires Stakes - $100
- Barrieau McIsaac Stake - $200
- Dawn Bremner Memorial - $75
- PEI Colt Stakes - $200
- Joe O'Brien Memorial - $200
- Lady Slipper Pace/Trot - $200
- Maritime Breeders - $200
- Maritimer - $125
- Nova Scotia Stake Pace/Trot - $100
- Milton Downey Memorial - $100
Three-Year-Old Sustaining Payments:
- NB Breeders Stake for foals of 2019: NB foaled $300 or Non NB foaled $600
- NB Breeders Stake for foals of 2020 (first three-year-old sustaining fee): NB foaled $300 or Non NB foaled $600
Horsepeople paying the Atlantic Sires Stakes sustaining payment must also pay the Atlantic Standardbred Breeders Association membership fee of $60 per-owner or $150 per racing stable per-year. If you have not already paid this fee in 2022, please remit it with your March 15 stakes payments.
Alberta Stakes:
The Alberta Standardbred Horse Association (ASHA) and Standardbred Canada would like to make owners aware of a condition change for those who received a stake payment notice for March 15, 2022 payments for the Moore's Mile Breeders and Shirley McClellan Breeders.
The conditions for those stakes are for Alberta-foaled three-year-old pacers only. They were incorrectly sent out to three-year-old Alberta owned/sired/foaled owners.
- Bev Sears Memorial (four-year-old mare pacers) - $200
- Ed Tracey Memorial (four-year-old male pacers) - $200
- Moore's Mile (Alberta foaled three-year-old male pacers) - $600
- Shirley McClellan (Alberta foaled three-year-old female pacers) - $600
Payments that are mailed in must be postmarked by March 15, 2022. Please mail and make cheques payable to:
