As a result of changing weather conditions, two New York racetracks have abandoned their Wednesday (Feb. 9) programs.
Due to warming temperatures and thawing track conditions, officials at Buffalo Raceway have cancelled the nine-race card scheduled for Wednesday evening. Racing at Buffalo is expected to resume on Saturday evening (Feb. 12) at 6 p.m. with a $5,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-5, which begins in the second race.
Saturday will also be 'Super Score Night,' with fans having an opportunity to get $500 in free Buffalo Raceway wagers by predicting the final score of Sunday's big game. Fans can also win an autographed Stefon Diggs jersey.
Yonkers Raceway has also cancelled their Wednesday card, per their race office.
