The Kentucky State Senate voted to pass Senate Bill 120, the Historical Horse Racing bill, by a margin of 22-15 on Tuesday (Feb. 9).
The bill will now go to the House Chambers for a vote.
The Kentucky Harness Horsemen's Association advises horsepeople to reach out to Kentucky State Representatives and let them know to vote 'yes' on Senate bill 120 for final passage to be sent and signed by Governor Beshear.
SB 120 has been assigned to the KY House Standing Committee on Licensing, Occupations, and Administrative Regulations and posted for consideration on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. The public may watch the committee meeting live on Kentucky Educational Televsion (KET) at this link.
