Nominations for the three-year-old stakes events for Hawthorne’s Night of Champions are due in one week, on Friday, February 15. The races are the Plum Peachy for filly pacers, the Robert F. Carey, Jr. Memorial for colt and gelding pacers, the Beulah Dygert Memorial for filly trotters, and the Erwin F. Dygert Memorial for colt and gelding trotters.
The nomination fee of $1,750 must be postmarked no later than February 15. Cheques should be made payable to Suburban Downs, Inc. Nominations should be sent to the attention of the Horseman’s Bookkeeper at Hawthorne, 3501 S. Laramie Ave., Cicero, IL, 60804.

Hawthorne Race Course, Chicago’s Hometown Track, returns for spring thoroughbred racing on Friday, March 15. The summer harness meet opens on Friday, May 5 and races through September 24.
