The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is seeking a summer programs intern for the 2014 season.
This paid assignment runs from approximately June 15 until August 15. The successful applicant must love horses, hard work and travel.
The intern will assist the program supervisor with all aspects of HHYF summer programs including teaching kids, training horses, and driving truck/trailer to various locations. Lodging and meals (per diem) are included. Compensation will be discussed at the time of the interview.
The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is a not-for-profit organization. Each summer, HHYF travels with horses and equipment with a purpose of providing educational experiences to young people about Standardbred race horses. The programs include one, three, and five-day events.
