Tuesday (February 3) marks the second consecutive day that Yonkers Raceway has cancelled both its live racing and simulcasting due to the wintry conditions in and around the greater New York area.
With Wednesday a scheduled dark day, live racing (and evening simulcasting) is set to resume Thursday evening (February 5) with first post at 7:10 p.m. Afternoon simulcasting is scheduled to resume Wednesday (February 4).
Horsepeople are advised that the draw schedule does not change. Saturday’s (February 7) draw is being conducted as of this writing, with Monday’s (February 9) draw scheduled to Wednesday (February 4, entry box closes at 9 a.m.). For more information, please contact the race office at 914-457-2627.
On Monday, officials from Flamboro Downs announced that Tuesday training at the Dundas, Ont. oval has been cancelled.
