The Woodbine Mohawk Park Race Office has added a new Claiming Pop-Up Series for pacers to next week’s condition sheet.
Woodbine Mohawk Park will offer a four-week $8,000 Claiming Pop-Up Series for pacers beginning on Monday, March 4.
The series will consist of three preliminary legs (with purses increasing each week) and an $18,000 final on Monday, April 1. A consolation will be offered if enough horses are entered.
The dates and purses are listed below:
- Leg 1: Monday, March 4 (Purse: $8,000)
- Leg 2: Monday, March 11 (Purse: $9,000)
- Leg 3: Monday, March 18 (Purse: $10,000)
- Final: Monday, April 1 (Purse: $18,000)
- Consolation: Monday, April 1 (Purse: $12,000)
A horse must race in a minimum of two legs to be eligible for the final.
The entry box for Monday, March 4 closes next Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 10:30 a.m
