Trot Insider has learned that longtime horseman John Woodland of Hamilton, Ontario passed away earlier this morning at the age of 67 in a Hamilton hospital after battling cancer.
John is survived by his wife Sandra, his mother Mary, daughter Tracy (Gerry), sons Walter (Sherri) and Wayne (Andrea) as well as nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Sidney.
