Due to a lack of healthy horses, Northlands Park has cancelled Sunday's live harness card. Only 54 horses were entered for the Thursday morning draw
.
"There are almost 50 horses on the vet list," said Northlands race manager Kevin Behm.
"Some are shipping to Fraser Downs," continued Behm. Fraser Downs will offer live racing through to June.
Race secretary Alan Bott estimates there are only 175 race-ready pacers left on the grounds with only three cards remaining after this coming weekend
