A $7,200 Open Pace headed by archrivals Heza Real Diamond and Allmyxsliventexas and a contentious $6,700 Open Distaff Pace are atop the marquee for this Friday evening (Feb. 14) at Cal Expo.
There will be 11 races presented under the ‘Watch and Wager LLC' banner. First post will be at 6:10 p.m.
The Open Pace will find Heza Real Diamond starting from the assigned Post 10 post in the field of eight, while Allmyxsliventexas will start from the assigned Post 9.
Heza Real Diamond has posed for pictures following four of his last six trips to the post (two of those victories came at this Open level). The four-year-old is owned by Orlando Nevarez, takes his lessons from Edwin Quevedo, and will have Nick Roland steering.
Allymxsliventexas is a seven-year-old homebred son of Hi Ho Silverheels. He races for Wayne and Rod Knittel. Bob Johnson performs the training duties and Mooney Svendsen does the driving.
