The Pick 5 once again proved an elusive target on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at MGM Yonkers Raceway, leading to a $6,218.97 carryover and $20,000 guaranteed pool in the wager on Thursday night’s program.
The guarantee in the Pick 5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program, and free past performances for the Pick 5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available at handicapping.ustrotting.com. The Pick 5, which begins in the fifth race and has a $1 minimum, has a takeout rate of 20 per cent.
Carryovers in the Pick 4s at Yonkers also went live this week. Rules for Pick 4 carryovers are as follows: if no one hits the early Pick 4, the carryover money goes to that day's late Pick 4; if no one hits the late Pick 4, the carryover money goes to the next day's early Pick 4. Both the early and late sequences are $1 minimum bets.
MGM Yonkers Raceway is operating on a Monday-through-Friday live racing schedule with post time each night at 6:45 p.m.
