Trot Insider has learned that former Standardbred owner/trainer Yves Desjardins of Saint-Jerome, Quebec passed away surrounded by his family on February 5, 2019 at the age of 90.
Desjardins, who was a solid horseman in his day, is the father of Denis and Daniel, both of whom are trainer/drivers, and is also the father of veterinarian Yvan Desjardins.
