Officials with Morrisville College have announced the details of the organization’s annual yearling sale.
The sale will be held on Sunday, September 15. This year marks the 28th edition of the annual sale.
The New York breeding and racing program has been a strong economic supporter of the Morrisville Equine Program for many years. The Morrisville College students greatly appreciate hosting the sale and making industry contacts with the consignors. These industry connections often lead to internships and further employment for our students. Morrisville College is the only educational institution in New York and in the country that conducts a Standardbred yearling sale.
In the 2018 Morrisville Sale, a total of 60 yearlings sold for an average price of $13,475. There was very impressive attendance and a wide range of buyers filled all the seats until the last yearling went through the ring.
Entries are now being accepted for the 2019 sale.
