Federal Flex Full & Closed for 2010

Seelster Farms announced today that the 2010 book for Federal Flex 2, 1:56.1s; 3, 1:53.3 ($840,643) is now full and closed. The response to Federal Flex, who

is standing his first season at stud, has been overwhelming.

Federal Flex will be serving some of the top trotting mares in the sport this season, including millionaires Lookout Victory 1:54.3s ($1,921,604) and Casual Breeze 1:53.1 ($1,347,330), as well as multiple stakes winners Pepi Lavec 4,1:55.3s ($801,377), Tymal Timeout 2,1:58.2f ($356,252) and Charming To A Tee 3,1:56s ($242,136) to name just a few.

A $100,000 yearling purchase, Federal Flex is the second foal from the top trotting mare Scully FBI 3, 1:57.3f; 1:54 ($557,668), the full sister to the impressive San Remo Kosmos 4, 1:52.3 ($619,587).

Sired by Muscles Yankee, Federal Flex was voted the O’Brien Award winner for Two-Year-Old Trotting Colt of the Year in 2008. At two, Federal Flex’s victories included the $718,000 final of the Valley Victory Stakes and a $111,636 division of the Champlain Stakes in a season’s best of 1:56.1.

At three, Federal Flex captured the $333,200 final of the Goodtimes Trot, as well as the $185,250 Stanley Dancer Stakes in a life’s best 1:53.3.
