Officials at Kawartha Downs have announced the details of the track's newest series for pacers. In addition to the series details, KD officials have also announced a track closure for this coming weekend

Officials announced that the track will be closed for training all day on Sunday, February 6.

BE MY VALENTINE PACING SERIES
• For $5,000 claiming fillies and mares;
• Must have raced at Kawartha Downs three times in 2010 to be eligible;
• 18 entries maximum on preference dates;
• Saturday, February 12 (eliminations);
• Saturday, February 19 (final) (purse $10,000)
• No claims in final
