MacKenzie "Mack" Roche Neil Smallman, of Cascumpec, P.E.I., passed on Monday (Dec. 7) as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 21.
Smallman, who was born in Summerside, P.E.I., to Amanda (Shannon) Sellick, was an upstart harness racing participant on the Island, earning Rookie of the Year honours in the province's matinee program last year.

He is survived by his mother, Amanda; his fiancée, Emily Gillis; son, Shamus; brothers, Braydon, Jaydon and Connor; grandparents, Wallace and Margaret Ann Smallman and Linda (Roland) Kinch; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements are in the care of the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel in O'Leary, P.E.I. A private visitation and service will be held on Friday (Dec. 11), with interment to follow in Springfield West Baptist Church Cemetery.
A GoFundMe campaign has been organized to help defray the cost of the funeral.
