London, Ontario's 'A' Channel has a weekly feature called Athlete of the Week which runs every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday, December 8, driver Doug McNair will become just the second harness racing personality featured on the program

The segment, which profiles the best and most interesting sports people in the city and area, has been running since early last year and McNair will become the 53rd person honoured.
The station shot an interview with McNair last week. The young driver is poised to become the youngest to ever reach the 1,000 victory milestone and currently is just seven wins away.
McNair had a multitude of drives at Western Fair yesterday and today but was denied the opportunity to reach the historical mark when the track had to cancel racing due to the severe winter weather conditions in the area.
McNair is scheduled to race Wednesday at Flamboro and Thursday at both Western Fair and Woodbine. The feature on McNair may be viewed at www.atv.ca/london/.
