Officials with the Standardbred Retirement Foundation have provided an update in regard to the SRF’s ‘#GivingTuesday’ initiative.
Generous and caring friends of these horses did it. They gave and they doubled their gift to these noble trotters and pacers under the care and expense of the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.
An anonymous donor offered to match every dollar donated up to $12,500 giving these horses hay, grain, medical care, worming, hoof care, and dental care. Giving Tuesday’s effort and success will keep their bellies full and provide warmth through these cold nights.
SRF is very grateful to each and everyone who made a difference for these horses. SRF couldn't do it without you.
