What was your most memorable horsey Christmas gift? It might have been the best or worst gift that you received during the holiday season, but it will be one that left a lasting impression and one that you will always remember.
The ‘I Love Canadian Harness Racing’ Fan Club wants to hear your memorable Christmas gift stories. Maybe you received a painting of your horse, a new custom halter, a truckload of horse feed, pink bell boots or new driving colours – whatever it was that made it to your list of most memorable horsey or harness racing Christmas gifts, we want to hear about it.
Please email your story (and photos if applicable) in 250 words or less to [email protected] by December 20, and you could be the winner of an ILCHR swag package valued at $50. If you have a photo of the gift, or yourself and the gift, send it along.
We’ll feature some of our favourite stories and photos in a special Fan Club Christmas gift story on our website.
Things to consider:
- The gift should have been received by you or a member of your family
- It could have been for a horse or horseperson – as long as the gift was somewhat ‘horsey’
- Perhaps you have a story about a friend who gave/received a memorable gift – send it in on their behalf
- Stories shouldn’t be longer than 250 words (we may have to edit longer stories to make them fit)
- The winner will be chosen by the Fan Club based on overall appeal (grammar and spelling won’t be graded.)
