Again this season at Dover Downs, the track will be dark on Tuesday, Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve day).
Live racing resumes on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014 (New Year’s Day) with a $20,000 Open Trot feature race. First post on weekdays, Monday through Thursday is 4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday are dark days. Sunday racing begins at 5:30 p.m.
There is no charge for parking or admission when visiting Dover Downs. Harness and thoroughbred simulcasts are featured from 12 noon until 12 midnight in the Dover Downs Race and Sports Book. To dine in the Winner’s Circle restaurant, call 302-674-4600 for reservations.
