Flamboro Downs has cancelled its card of live harness racing slated for Sunday, Dec. 29 due to unseasonably warm temperatures and continuous rainfall, causing deteriorating track conditions.

Racing is set to resume on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025 with a first race post time of 6:35 p.m.

Team Cullen captured the leading driver and trainer titles at Flamboro Downs for 2024, with driver Travis and trainer Jodie topping their respective leaderboards.

Travis Cullen clicked at a 27.5 percent win rate at Flamboro this past season, with his 130 victories leading the way on the driving side. Samuel Fillion (126) and Travis Henry (120) followed, with Fillion's $822,081 in earnings the best among the track's sulky-sitters.

On the training side, Jodie Cullen topped all trainers for wins (103) and earnings ($563,383) at Flamboro in 2024. Cullen trainees clicked at a 36.3 percent success rate, with her UTRS coming in at 0.486. Gerard Demers (67) and Richard Moreau (37) were next best among the track's winningest trainers.
