Guarantees, Carryover At Pompano

Pompano Park's racing programs for Monday and Tuesday are now enhanced as the Pick-4 guarantees for both nights has been bumped up to $10,000 and the Super Hi-5 carryover has ballooned close to $15,000 for the Monday card.

Director of Racing Brett Revington said, "We realize that the success of our sport--and, of course, Pompano Park, is a team effort and a huge part of that team are our very loyal racing fans. I thought it would be a great idea to try and put some extra cash in our fan's pockets with the bigger guarantees for the Pick-4. I think it could attract some "big time" results--especially with our very friendly 12% takeout."

Monday's card also features the Super Hi-5 wager on the final race, which has gone unscathed over the past few sessions and now sports a carryover of $14,983.45.

The Super Hi-5 requires the selection of the first five finishers in exact order and, to take down the entire pool, the winner must have the only ticket sold on the winning combination. Consolations are paid if their are multiple winners.

Monday's racing program features fillies and mares in two separate Open events.

The $13,000 Open Handicap Trot pits three mares looking for repeat victories--Trot Fudge Sundae, Tweet Me and ABC Dream On--in the field of seven.

Trot Fudge Sundae comes off a splendid 1:55.2 win in the Open last week while Tweet Me, one of two three year-olds in the field, steps up a notch after a hard earned 1:57.2 win in her last last 19 days ago. She looks to go over $100,000 in 2014 earnings with a strong showing. ABC Dream On, also three, also steps up to the big time after being placed first on a disqualification timed in 1:56.1.

McTinys Hope, Shes All In, Reverie Devictorie and Pure Barre complete the million dollar field.

In the top $12,500 Open pace for fillies and mares, De Vins Girl also looks to vault over the $100,000 mark for the year. With a 9-9-6 scorecard in 30 starts, De Vins Girl sports earnings of $96,985 to go along with a mark of 1:51 and will try and prove her superiority over Mach Me Not, Winbak Heavenly, P L Hula, Godiva Seelster and Mach It A Par.

Post time is 7:30 p.m. for both the Monday and Tuesday programs.
