It has been announced that longtime horseman Bryce Truitt, 59, of Paxinos, Pa., has passed away.
Truitt, who hails from a family deeply rooted in racing, was one of the leading drivers on the Maryland circuit during the 1980s. Most recently, he was active at Pennsylvania racetracks and on the fair circuit.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Kristy (Fred); grandchildren, Trevor and Alexander; and father, Norwood.
Visitation will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 238 Market Street, Sunbury, Pa., on Sunday (December 28) from 2-3 p.m., followed by services at 3 p.m.
