Great Canadian Gaming Corp. Executive Director of Operations Darlene Doyle has announced the appointment of Raj Mutti as Regional General Manager, Racing
.
“Raj will continue with his current responsibilities as General Manager of Hastings Racecourse and, in addition, his scope will increase as he provides direction and oversight with respect to standardbred horseracing activities at Fraser Downs,” Doyle said. “In this context, Raj will work closely with Ken Stratton , newly promoted General Manager for Fraser Downs Racetrack & Casino. Raj will continue to represent GCGC with British Columbia horseracing industry stakeholders.”
Mutti, 29, was named this past summer to the Thoroughbred Times “40-under-40” list of top young leaders in the industry. He has an extensive background that dates back to his early days as a busboy at Hastings Racecourse. He attended Simon Fraser University and is as graduate of the University of Arizona ’s Racetrack Management Program with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Mutti was named General Manager at Hastings in 2007.
