The Meadows Racetrack and Casino has announced a mandatory payout of its Jackpot Hi-5 for Monday, December 30. The carryover heading into the mandatory payout date will be a record $105,000.96.
Jackpot Hi-5 wagering has been suspended for the Thursday – Saturday, December 26, 27 and 28 cards, until the mandatory payout.
“This mandatory payout of the Hi-5 wager should put an exclamation point on what has been a strong 2019 season and provide an outstanding wagering proposition for our fans,” said Mark Loewe, Vice President of Racing for The Meadows.
Total wagering through December 15 on Meadows' live harness racing product is up nine percent in 2019. The draw for Monday’s card of racing will take place Tuesday, December 24.
The Jackpot Hi-5 mandatory payout race will be the final race on the card.
