Yonkers Raceway is indeed “running out of racetrack” for its 2015 season, with just seven live programs remaining (five evenings, one afternoon, one late morning).
The remaining race dates are:
--Friday, Dec. 4, Saturday, Dec. 5, Monday, Dec. 7, Friday, Dec. 11, Saturday, Dec. 12 (first posts at 7:10 p.m.)
--Tuesday, Dec. 8 (first post at 1 p.m.).
--Sunday, Dec. 13 (final program of 2015, first post at 11:15 a.m.).
Note that this Sunday (Dec. 6) was/is a scheduled dark day.
The proposed 2016, 238-program season is set to begin Thursday, Jan. 7, pending approval of the New York State Gaming Commission.
Please be advised there is no evening simulcasting during Yonkers’ end-of-season hiatus, with afternoon simulcasting available daily (save for NYRA’s Christmas down time, Dec. 21-25, inclusive).
