Sunfire Blue Chip hails from one of the sport’s most well-bred families. He is the second foal of the Cams Card Shark mare Shot Togo Bluechip, his full brother is $1.7 million winner Heston Blue Chip p, 3, 1:48f. Their half-sister sold at last month’s Harrisburg sale for $160,000.
His second dam is a full sister to $1.4 million winner Kikikatie (dam of Rockin Image $903,424, Time To Roll $782,792, Rockin Amadeus $722,609, Tellitlikeitis $513,917), Just Wait Kate ($387,931), Kiss Me Kate ($284,820) and half-sister to this year’s multiple stakes winner Katie Said ($209,273).
This is the immediate family of the just retired Camluck, the leading pacing sire in Ontario for many years.
The introductory fee for Sunfire Blue Chip is $4,000. He will join the Tara Hills stallion roster, which also includes Kadabra, Sportswriter, Mach Three, Mr Lavec and Royalty For Life.
