Flamboro Downs and Woodbine Mohawk Park have cancelled the live harness racing programs for Thursday, Dec. 15 due to inclement weather conditions.
Flamboro Downs management has made the decision to cancel live racing due to extremely unsafe driving conditions caused by freezing rain in Hamilton, Ont. and surrounding areas. Racing will resume on Saturday, Dec. 17, with a first race post time of 6:35 p.m.
With freezing rain turning to heavy snow Thursday afternoon, Woodbine made the decision to cancel live racing in the best interest of all participants and staff. Live racing is scheduled to resume at the Campbellville, Ont. oval on Friday evening. Post time is 7 p.m.
