OSAS In Santa Claus Parade

Jessica Buckley, President of Woodbine Mohawk Park, will be riding Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society’s ambassador Ruff Me Up in Campbellville's Santa Claus Parade for the second straight year.

Former top pacer Reverend Hanover, who joined OSAS earlier this year and has proven to be a very quick learner, will be driven in the parade. In his few months with OSAS, the seven-year-old gelding has performed a myriad of duties including outriding on Breeders Crown night at Mohawk in October.

Ruff Me Up, a striking grey gelding, and Reverend Hanover, who earned in excess of $550,000 in his career, were Meet And Greet horses at Mohawk many times over the past few months.

The parade gets underway at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 15) and starts at Reid Sideroad and Crawford Crescent and ends at the Campbellville Lions Hall.
