The Standardbred Retirement Foundation's drawing for a winner of the trip to the famous Prix d' Amerique race in Paris, France is Thursday, December 15.
The trip for two includes a five-day/four-night stay in Paris at a four-star hotel, including sightseeing, training centre, farm and city tours, cocktail parties, and the famous race all during January 26 – January 30, 2017.
The weekend starts with a city sightseeing tour of Paris to see the Arch of Triumph, the Eiffel Tower and more accompanied by an English-speaking tour guide. A three-course dinner and French wines follow and are also included. You'll visit Grobois, the training centre like no other – here the horse is king. People rave about it and say nothing else is quite like it. Spend a day at the races at Vincennes, what many call the most opulent harness track in the world. You can enjoy races of a variety of distances all from a standing start. On race day join fans from all over the world for the big race. Eighteen trotters will compete for the Prix d' Amerique.
