The Standardbred Retirement Foundation's (SRF) annual raffle for a trip to the famous Prix d'Amerique in 2014 was won by Brittany Farms, Versailles, KY.
When SRF reached Brittany Farms, Art Zubrod, their representative, said, "You're kidding!" He will be in touch with Mr. Segal, the owner to see what he'd like to do. The alternate prize is a $2,500 gift card. Brittany Farms and several of its associates purchased tickets to support the fundraiser.
"The raffle is a great way to help us feed and provide for the approximately 188 standardbreds under our full care, all hoping for homes but many passed over due to age or injury; we are so appreciative of everyone's support," said Paula Campbell.
