The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will offer 195 live race cards in 2018 — matching the total for 2017 — highlighted by the 52nd edition of the $500,000 (est.) Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids on Saturday, July 28.
The Meadows generally will offer live racing each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, with first post usually at 1:05 p.m. The season will kick off on Tuesday, January 2 and will continue throughout the year with brief breaks in April/May, July/August and September.
‘Adios Week’ will begin on Saturday, July 21, with eliminations for the ‘Pace for the Orchids’ and will include a week of Grand Circuit harness racing action plus a variety of special events. The Adios Day card is set for 12 p.m.

Each card will feature a $5,000 total-pool Pick 4 guarantee in association with the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering Initiative. Introduced in 2015, Pick 4 guarantees have proved extremely popular with players.

The Meadows will offer live cards to complement each leg of the Thoroughbred Triple Crown. These events will begin at 11:25 a.m. and will include such festivities as the annual Kentucky Derby Hat contest.

The schedule includes nine Friday ‘twilight’ programs that will begin at 5:30 p.m.
