Trot Insider has learned long-time horse owner Joe Myers passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017. He was 77.
Retired from the racing business in 2007, Myers enjoyed his retirement time with his seven grandchildren and his great grandchild.
Myers was an avid standardbred horse enthusiast who owned such greats as Peaceful Way, Fishin Clinic, War Paint, Honour Way and Dornello.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, December 18, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N York Road, Hatboro, PA. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Richmond Street near Orthodox St., Philadelphia, PA.
Memorial contributions in Joe’s name may be made to the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society.
