The curtain will close on the 25th silver anniversary season of live harness racing at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Saturday, Nov. 10 and will be highlighted by a $20,000 guaranteed Pick-4 pool.

An action packed 14-race card will close out the 2018 season with mandatory payouts in the Pick-4, Pick-5, and Hoosier High-5 pools. First post is 6:30 p.m.

Two longshot winners in Friday’s Pick-4 sequence at Harrah’s Hoosier Park sparked a carryover of $4,385.17 and will kick-start the Pick-4 pool for Saturday. Harrah’s Hoosier Park will offer this signature wagering opportunity in partnership with the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering program and the Indiana Standardbred Association.

The Pick-4 begins in the third race and will continue through the sixth race. Approximate post time for the first leg of the wager, the third race, is 7:06 p.m. (est.). Free past performances for the Pick-4 will be available on the United States Trotting Association website. Expert selections and handicapping tools are also available on Hoosier Park’s website and The United States Trotting Association’s website.

Saturday’s 14-race card will feature several late closing series finals and a $21,000 Invitational Pace. Local fan favourite and Breeders Crown champion Freaky Feet Pete will also be in action on the evening’s 14-race card looking to score his second consecutive win, competing in the $15,000 Open Pace with Trace Tetrick in the bike.

In addition to the racing action, Hoosier Park will award the 2018 leading driver and trainer trophies. Hoosier Park’s reigning leading driver, Trace Tetrick, led the driving standings from start to finish and will add his seventh driver title at Hoosier Park to his resume. The title for leading trainer looks to be a race to the wire between Jeff Cullipher and Jamie Macomber, who shared the trainer title last season, with only four wins separating the two heading into the final night of racing.
