Final qualifying legs for the Xtreme Racing Series will take place at three different racetracks today

Western Fair and Kawartha Downs each have a leg of the Xtreme Sprint for claiming pacers. Western Fair’s Xtreme Sprint has been carded as Race 7 and will head postward at approximately 5:26 p.m. Kawartha’s Sprint has been carded as Race 8, and the pacers will swing in behind the gate at roughly 6:35 p.m.
Countyline Cam, who currently leads all horses in the Xtreme Sprint standings with 87 points, will start from Post 2 in Kawartha’s Sprint race. The five-year-old gelded son of Cambest is from the Michael Sinclair stable and has one win, a second-place finish and a third in the Xtreme legs.
Panastasia, a five-year-old daughter of No Pan Intended, is currently in second place in the Sprint standings with 75 points. The mare is scheduled to be racing in Western Fair’s event today. Panastasia has drawn the rail and has struck for a win and a second-place finish so far in the series.
Fifteen claiming trotters will go a mile and three-eighths in the final Xtreme Enduro qualifying leg, which will be taking place at Georgian Downs tonight. The race holds an approximate 10:25 p.m. post time. Mr Martin, who has dominated the first two legs, will start from Post 12 in tonight’s event. He has accumulated 100 points via his pair of victories.
The $20,000 Xtreme Championships will be hosted at Georgian Downs on Tuesday, November 16 and will feature the top point earners from the series’ preliminary legs. The Xtreme Sprint will be a one lap, five-eighths-of-one-mile event for nine pacers. The Xtreme Enduro will be a one-and-three-eighths-of-a-mile test for 18 trotters.
