Mohawk’s 2019-20 Winter Series Unveiled

Woodbine Mohawk Park has unveiled its 2019-20 winter series late closer lineup, which consists of six events over the months of December, January and February.

This year’s winter series includes the returning Niagara, Valedictory, Blizzard and Snowshoe, plus the additions of the new Wine & Roses and Pepsi Series.

The Niagara and Valedictory Series for three-year-old pacers will take place over the month of December and will conclude on the annual Boxing Day matinee program. The other four series will be held in the New Year and will offer racing opportunities for three and four-year-old pacers and trotters.

Each series will consist of two $17,000 (guaranteed) preliminary legs and a $30,000 (added) final.

Nominations close on Monday, December 2, 2019.

The nomination fee for each event is $200 ($165 USD).

Niagara
Three-Year-Old Pacing Fillies in 2019, Non-Winners of $60,000 lifetime as of midnight October 31, 2019. No allowances.

Valedictory
Three-Year-Old Pacing Colts & Geldings in 2019, Non-Winners of $60,000 lifetime as of midnight October 31, 2019. No allowances.

Blizzard
Three & Four-Year-Old Pacing Fillies & Mares in 2020, Non-Winners of 2 Races or $30,000 lifetime as of midnight October 31, 2019. No allowances.

Snowshoe
Three & Four-Year-Old Pacing Colts & Geldings in 2020, Non-Winners of 2 Races or $30,000 lifetime as of midnight October 31, 2019. No allowances.

Wine & Roses
Three & Four-Year-Old Trotting Fillies & Mares in 2020, Non-Winners of $60,000 lifetime as of midnight October 31, 2019. No allowances.

Pepsi
Three & Four-Year-Old Trotting Colts, Horses & Geldings, Non-Winners of $60,0000 lifetime as of midnight October 31, 2019. No allowances.
